HITMAN: ABSOLUTION

Hitman: Absolution takes Agent 47 in a more cinematic, story-forward direction, with tighter levels and a stronger focus on immediate stealth tension. It is less of a pure sandbox than later Hitman games, but it still sells the fantasy of methodical infiltration.

Absolution is more linear and cinematic than the World of Assassination trilogy, but it still carries the series' fascination with observation, disguise, and dark humor. It sits in an interesting middle ground where the stealth sandbox is narrower, yet the mood is strong enough to give the whole thing its own identity.
