The remake version of Resident Evil 3 leans more into pace than labyrinthine dread, with Jill's escape framed as a fast, pressured run through collapsing streets. The Nemesis factor gives it a strong sense of pursuit, keeping the player moving even when the horror is less about scarcity than in Resident Evil 2.
