Rise of the Tomb Raider balances action, platforming, and tomb-solving with a colder, more survival-focused tone than the first reboot game. Snowy wilderness, hidden ruins, and optional challenge spaces give it a strong adventure rhythm.

This one hits a particularly good balance between action and adventure. The environments invite climbing and scavenging, the combat is more confident than the 2013 reboot, and the tombs feel important rather than token. It understands that Lara works best when competence and vulnerability sit side by side.
