Star Citizen is an ambitious and still-evolving space sim that mixes ship interiors, first-person action, trading, dogfights, and large-scale simulation goals inside one persistent universe. It is as much a technical experiment as a finished traditional game.

Its biggest attraction is ambition itself: an attempt to make spaceflight, trading, combat, and planetary travel feel part of one enormous, tangible fiction. For some players the unfinished edges are a dealbreaker; for others they are the price of getting to inhabit a sci-fi sandbox that aims far beyond a traditional boxed campaign.
